Flower Care

Dried or Preserved Floral Care

Dried and preserved flowers have very similar care instructions. Please see some useful tips to maximise the life of your floral arrangement.

  • Dried and preserved flowers do not require any water.
  • Display your flowers indoors and preferably away from direct sunlight to prevent colour variation and fading.
  • Keep your flowers out of humid rooms and away from air-conditioning and heaters as this may cause them to dry further and shed. We do not recommend keeping your flowers in bathrooms as this may cause mould, discolouration and premature ageing.
  • Avoid touching the flowers to the best of your ability as may cause the flowers to break and shorten their shelf-life.
  • Do not spray water or perfume on the flowers as this will cause damage.

How to Clean Your Floral Arrangement

  • Carefully dust your flowers with a feather duster or a make up brush to avoid build up of dust.
  • Use a hairdryer on its lowest cold speed to remove dust.
  • Spray compressed air (the kind you can purchase to clean electronics) onto the flowers. Do not hold the can too close to the flowers as the spray comes out very fast.
