Do I need to water my dried flower arrangements?

The beauty of dried flowers is they do not require any water. 

How long will my dried flower arrangements last?

Dried flowers have a general shelf life of 1-5 years. Looked after in the right way, they can last longer however, the colour/s will fade. Some florals may age quicker than others. Their appearance & longevity will be very dependant on environmental conditions and how they are handled.

How long will it take before I get my order?

We are speedy in packing and creating the orders but a more specific time frame will depend on what delivery method is chosen. You will have a choice of pickup, hand delivery or shipping via our courier. Custom order time frame will be discussed with you via email.

What happens if I am not home when my order is delivered?

Unless otherwise advised by emailing us at hello@fernandme.com.au, all deliveries either via courier shipping or local delivery have the the authority to be left unattended. All unsuccessful deliveries will result in the goods being returned to Fern and Me. An additional delivery fee will be charged and delivery will not be made until fee has been paid.

I am from Brisbane, Can I pick up my order?

You sure can!

Local pick up is available for all orders. When your order is ready we will contact you to make an appointment to collect from our home studio in Parkinson, Brisbane. Please ensure your contact details are correct when placing your order. 

Please allow 1-4 days for your order to be prepared. If you require an order earlier please contact us at hello@fernandme.com.au and we will do our best to accommodate this.

What courier do you use to deliver orders?

In between creating, designing, purchasing and doing administration, we will also be offering personal delivery to the selected South Brisbane suburbs. Certain floral arrangements can only be delivered with this option.

Do you have a store l can visit?

At this stage we are an online store business based in Brisbane. However you can visit our online store 24/7 and email us at any time at hello@fernandme.com.au if you have any questions and we will get back to you within a timely manner.

Why are dried flowers so expensive?

Flower drying and preservation is a tedious, long and expensive process. Once they are cut fresh, they are then treated and stored to make sure the process is successful. The flowers are first harvested and then carefully selected, following a two weeks drying or preserving process which uses high grade non-toxic, cosmetic grade chemicals. This can take weeks which adds to labour and keep. Things like mould and discolouration and damage can ruin a product if not done correctly. Also good to note that dried flowers last for years and years and don't die quickly like fresh blooms. Your dried flower arrangements will be with you a long time!

Do your arrangements come in with a pot / vase?

The majority of our flowers come pre arranged either in a vase or a pot. Fern + Me understand that you may already have a vase (and some flair) and you would like to arrange your flowers yourself. As an alternative to a pre-made vase or potted arrangement we also sell bunches of dried/preserved florals. Please email on hello@fernandme.com.au if you would like something customised to your needs.
